Let's clear this up, because people sometimes think notarization certifies what the document says. Notarization certifies your signature: that you are the one signing, in person and with your ID. It does not validate the content of the document or the translation. It's used for letters, affidavits, simple powers of attorney, travel consents, and for the translator's statement when it's required notarized. We can only notarize when the requirements are met: the signer present and holding a valid photo ID.

What’s not included
- Drafting the document or legal advice on what to sign.
- Validating the content or the translation: notarization certifies the signature.
- Certified copies of birth, marriage or death certificates: those are issued by the office that holds the record.
- Notarizing without the signer present or without a valid ID.
How your investment is calculated
It's charged per notarial act: 10 USD each. Example: a letter signed by 2 people = 2 acts = 20 USD. If you also need translation, copies or shipping, we add them in the quote before we start. The price we give you is the price you pay.

What we need from you
- Be present in person (every person signing)
- A valid photo ID (passport, driver's license or state ID); if you're unsure about yours, ask us before coming
- The complete document, unsigned: you sign in front of us
- An appointment or a quick WhatsApp message beforehand so we can see you right away
Payment
We accept several payment methods:

Paid in full at the office at the time of notarization.
Guarantee and refunds
Service guarantee: if an office objects to the translation because of a mistake on our part, we fix it at no cost and deliver it again. Revisions of our translation are included.
Refund policy, depending on timing:
- Before we start working on your document: 100% refund.
- Work started but not delivered: we refund the part not yet worked on.
- Work delivered: no refund, but we fix any mistake of ours at no cost.
- Official fees and shipping already paid to third parties cannot be recovered.
Your documents and your data are always handled with full confidentiality.
