Let's clear this up, because it often gets mixed up with transcription. Transcription gives you the text of what is said; subtitling puts that text on screen, in short lines and at the right moment, so it can be read while you watch. Our translators write, translate and time every line, and a different person reviews it watching the whole video. We make sure each subtitle reads at a comfortable pace and says what the speaker means, naturally. It works for courses, YouTube and social media videos, interviews, events, testimonials and company presentations.

What’s not included
- Video editing (cuts, music, effects): we work only on the subtitles.
- Dubbing or voice-over in another language.
- Translating text that appears in images or graphics in the video, unless you ask: that is quoted separately.
- Uploading the video to your channels or platforms.
How your investment is calculated
We charge per video minute. Subtitles in the video's own language: 4 USD per minute. With translation into the other language: 9 USD per minute. Example: a 10-minute video in the same language = 10 × 8 = 80 USD; with translation, 10 × 12 = 120 USD. If you want the subtitles burned into the video, we add it to the quote before we start. The price we give you is the price you pay.

We accept several payment methods:

You pay from your traducasa.com account once you have approved the price.
Jobs under 300 USD are paid in full when you approve the quote. Projects of 300 USD or more: 50% to start and 50% on delivery. If you have several videos, you can approve and pay for them in batches.
Guarantee and refunds
Service guarantee: if an office objects to the translation because of a mistake on our part, we fix it at no cost and deliver it again. Revisions of our translation are included.
Refund policy, depending on timing:
- Before we start working on your document: 100% refund.
- Work started but not delivered: we refund the part not yet worked on.
- Work delivered: no refund, but we fix any mistake of ours at no cost.
- Official fees and shipping already paid to third parties cannot be recovered.
Your documents and your data are always handled with full confidentiality.
