What’s not included
- Checking whether the technical content is correct: we translate what your document says, faithfully
- Converting units (inches to centimeters, for example), unless you ask and we agree on it
- Rebuilding the original layout: that's Translation with the original layout
- Text inside drawings or images that can't be edited: quoted separately
How your investment is calculated
We charge by words, not by sheets. The first billing page covers up to 310 words (250 plus 60 courtesy words, given only once), and each additional page covers 250 more words: up to 310 words = 1 page; 311 to 560 = 2; 561 to 810 = 3; and so on. Example: a 1,500-word manual is 6 billing pages x 30 USD = 180 USD. Next day: +15 USD per page, if the volume allows it. If you need the translation certified or printed, it's added to the quote.

Payment
We accept several payment methods:

You pay from your traducasa.com account once you have approved the price.
If the job costs less than 300 USD, you pay in full when you approve the quote. If it costs 300 USD or more (a long manual, for example), you pay 50% to start and 50% on delivery.
Guarantee and refunds
Service guarantee: if an office objects to the translation because of a mistake on our part, we fix it at no cost and deliver it again. Revisions of our translation are included.
Refund policy, depending on timing:
- Before we start working on your document: 100% refund.
- Work started but not delivered: we refund the part not yet worked on.
- Work delivered: no refund, but we fix any mistake of ours at no cost.
- Official fees and shipping already paid to third parties cannot be recovered.
Your documents and your data are always handled with full confidentiality.
